Emma Burns

CEO & Founding School Evaluator

Emma began her career as a teacher, and has spent the years since evaluating the schools shaping international education worldwide. As an IB Evaluator and independent consultant to international schools, she works directly with school leadership on accreditation, curriculum, and quality standards, and provides professional development to the educators shaping the next generation of students. It's given her a view most consultants never get: what a genuinely strong school looks like from the inside, long before a family ever walks through the door.

Cham Tran

Vietnam Office Director & Founding Family Advisor

Growing up in Vietnam in the years following the war, Cham learned early that education meant opportunity. She studied English Translation and Interpreting and Tourism Management, and though she never studied abroad herself, years of international travel and cross-cultural work broadened her perspective. As a mother and educational consultant, she helps students discover who they are before choosing a school — because every child deserves a pathway that reflects their own strengths and personality.

Emin Afandi

Azerbaijan Office Director & Founding Student Advisor

Originally from Azerbaijan and now based in Berlin, Emin knows firsthand what it's like to study abroad — including choosing a path shaped more by family expectations than personal interest. He found his own balance by pursuing a Master's in a field that matched his strengths, and now helps families create pathways that respect both what parents want and what students need, preparing students for the real challenges of life abroad.
